About
A small shelf, chosen slowly
Ekam is a sole proprietorship based in Hyderabad, Telangana, operating online as Noraris Vault (norarisvault.shop).
How this started
A one-room flat in Hyderabad, Telangana in the middle of May, the ceiling fan doing nothing useful, and the flat next door frying fish. That was the week the first diffuser was bought — not as a lifestyle purchase, but as a way to make a small hot room bearable to come home to.
It was a disappointment. The tank was smaller than the listing implied, the fan whined at a pitch that made sleep worse rather than better, and nothing anywhere said how long it would actually run before it cut out. The second one was quieter, but only by luck; the listing had been just as uninformative. Somewhere between those two purchases the idea for this shop turned up.
A room changes before you have unpacked a single box — that is what a good diffuser is for.
Our commitment
Numbers as stated
We publish tank volume, mist mode and run-time as the manufacturer states them, and say so when a figure is unverified rather than rounding it up into a headline.
Quiet before anything else
We favour ultrasonic units over fan-driven ones, because a diffuser that lives in a bedroom has to be quiet first.
Photographed as it ships
What you see is the unit and what is in the box — not a styled arrangement with props that are not included.
Our story
The catalogue is small on purpose. Every unit here has been switched on at this desk, run for an afternoon and listened to from across the room. The ones that rattled, leaked around the seal or died on the second fill are not on the site, and there is no incentive that would put them there.
We sell diffusers without bundling oils, which strikes some visitors as a missed opportunity. It is deliberate. Scent is the most personal thing in the room and choosing it for you would be presumptuous; we would rather sell you a good machine and let you decide what goes in it.
Online only
There is no showroom and no walk-in counter. Noraris Vault trades entirely online and ships across India from Hyderabad, Telangana, which keeps overheads off the price of the goods.
